If Predestined, Why Bother With Astrology

An interesting question. Hmmm, don't know what to make of the answer. What are present destiny and future destiny? "We look for knowledge – be it from astrology or elsewhere – to help us figure out the most productive way to deal with our current destiny" - isn't our of dealing with destiny (current or whatever) also predetermined?
