When a Google employee said that men and women are different and that women on an average are poorer than men in STEM, it caused a furore.
In the article below, Masculinity Isn’t a Sickness https://www.wsj.com/articles/masculinity-isnt-a-sickness-11547682809, the author says that men are supposed to be masculine and women feminine.
To me both the articles are sensible. I wonder why the world (aka USA) looked at the Google STEM article to be in poor taste. Is it that saying women are better than men at nurturing is fine while saying that women aren't as good at men at STEM creates a furore - the reason for both being the same - whether genetics, biology, evolutionary, cultural.
