Being Of Use

Being of use to someone and feeling used by someone are very different. In both cases we serve someone else's interests. Why do they feel different then?

    It is probably the realization of the difference between Need and Greed that makes this difference too. When it is use for need it is acceptable.

    Its very simple, if you do it because You want to do it and not because you are asked to do it, the feeling is of being useful. If you do it because you are asked to and not because you want to, you will feel used.

      Not exactly. It's not about being asked to do it. It's about being manipulated into doing it - when you think you are doing it based on your decision and then realize that your decision was orchestrated.

      If i ask you for something and you do it for me, i am obliged to you but am not using you. I disagree here.
