Maths Puzzle 11: I$ = 1c

Here is another maths puzzle.

Let's take one dollar. This is equal to 100c (cents)

Now,
1$ = 100c = 10c * 10c

= ( 1/10 $ ) * ( 1/10 $ )

= (0.1$) * (0.1$)

= 0.01$

= 1c

So, $1 = 1c

Where is the catch?

1 comment:

  1. 1$ = 100c = 10c * 10c ( NOT CORRECT )
    1$ = 100c = 10c * 10 ( CORRECT )
    So, $1 = $1
