Right now I am interested in any understanding that comes from non-rationality.
So many things become obvious about ourselves when we see the same trait in others (initially we get shocked to see someone exhibits a shocking behavior and then when we introspect, we realize we are similar) or when we experience an event which opens our eyes.
These inferences are not logically deduced but they are like a mirror which shows something like a scar which previously was unseen.
Is there any patten to these mirrors (or events) which explain new stuff to us? They seem to occur at random. Do we have to resign ourselves to getting new understanding without any control over getting more of it? Without being able to schedule it?
