How does a psychiatrist address mental issues if there is no freewill?
Having no freewill of course doesn't mean that the mind cannot be controlled or channeled. Maybe it becomes easier. It's now only like repairing a machine. A machine behaves predictably. Even if it's not working well a good mechanic can figure out what's wrong and make the necessary repairs and fix it. It's no different (maybe a little more complex) with repairing human beings with mental issues.
Matter of fact if human beings DID have freewill it would be far more difficult to fix their mental issues..
